Job summary

HelloKindred in the United Kingdom is seeking an EQD Business Analyst to shape and enable the technical development and run-time operation of a global Cash Equities platform. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) with BPSS eligibility and an anticipated contract end date of 31 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Front-to-Back Cash Equities knowledge, including STP trading, order management, market access, regulatory reporting, and middle/back office feeds.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong task management.
• Strong understanding of European Cash Equities market structure, venues, routing patterns, and liquidity/access models.
• Knowledge of the European regulatory landscape (MiFID II, MAR, Short Selling).
• Ability to influence and build relationships across Trading, Regulatory Compliance, Operations, and Technology at multiple seniority levels.
• Experience delivering change in a global, virtual, multi-POD environment and coordinating across regions and product areas.
• Exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and an appreciation of front-office architecture and design trade-offs.
• Strong business analysis capabilities including elicitation, end-to-end process mapping, data-flow analysis, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
• Technical fluency to engage with engineers, including Java and SQL for technical walkthroughs, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-to-back analysis of trading workflows and systems, including order capture, routing, execution, allocations, confirmations, and post-trade feeds.
• Translate market structure and regulatory constraints into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define requirements covering latency, resiliency, auditability, and controls.
• Partner with Product Owners to deconstruct business outcomes into deliverable features.
• Ensure coherent solution definition across product areas and regions.
• Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Map end-to-end business processes and data flows.
• Define clear acceptance criteria and maintain traceability from business outcomes through delivery and testing.
• Lead complex investigations and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
• Support the build and migration of solutions to the strategic platform.
• Ensure service resilience and recovery objectives are met for delivered solutions.
• Support operational readiness, monitoring, and overall solution supportability.
• Ensure new products and services align with mandatory and regulatory requirements.
• Embed appropriate controls and evidence compliance-by-design.
• Collaborate across Trading, Regulatory Compliance, Operations, and Technology.
• Coordinate effectively across global regions, product areas, development teams, and time zones.
• Engage engineers in technical walkthroughs, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Possess deep knowledge of the European regulatory landscape, including MiFID II, Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), and Short Selling requirements.
• Have proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships across Trading, Regulatory Compliance, Operations, and Technology at multiple seniority levels.
• Bring experience delivering change within a global, virtual, multi-POD environment and coordinating across regions and product areas.
• Possess exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and an appreciation of front-office architecture and design trade-offs.
• Have strong business analysis capability, including requirements elicitation and documentation, end-to-end process mapping, data-flow analysis, acceptance criteria definition, and requirements traceability.
