Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Digital System Support Officer to deliver high-quality support to end users of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) applications. You will assist staff with queries, access guidance and use digital systems effectively.

Experience with clinical or EPR systems is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for an approachable, proactive individual who communicates clearly and maintains a patient-focused

Responsibilities

Provide first and second line support for EPR applications.
Assist Trust staff via the IT Service Desk—remote and onsite.
Liaise with other teams to ensure issues are resolved.
Provide first & second-line technical support for EPR applications and other Trust-wide clinical IT systems.
Respond to IT Service Desk calls, triage priorities and plan appropriate help.
Analyse information to identify and resolve a range of computer and application problems.
Understand and interpret complex user issues to determine the best response.
