Main duties of the job

This post will focus on assisting George Eliot Hospital in their journey to join this single Oracle Millennium instance. As an EPR Senior Information Business Partner, you will help develop and implement the strategy for successful data migration from legacy systems into the new EPR. You will identify and translate data migration requirements into conversion processes, managing risks and issues that arise. The role involves detailed analysis of complex technical and business requirements across multiple services within and outside the Trust to ensure data quality and successful migration into the new EPR.

Job responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data migration and reporting strategies with the EPR Data Migration and Reporting Lead.
  • Lead and motivate the data migration team, driving the program's delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Support directorates in understanding their data quality issues related to legacy and new systems.
  • Coordinate with service managers and clinical leads to address data quality issues before migration.
  • Work closely with EPR migration partners to ensure smooth data flow for migration.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and support managers and clinicians to meet targets.
  • Report progress and assurance to Boards and Committees.
  • Ensure testing during trial loads and rehearsals is maximized.
  • Understand service flow data, identify concerns, and support early corrective actions.
  • Assist directorate managers and clinicians in understanding their services during EPR implementation.
  • Perform complex data quality checks and remediation.
  • Document data sources and enable efficiencies.
  • Articulate dependencies on other teams/systems and incorporate them into plans.

Person Specification
Technical
  • Expertise in information analysis, report writing, and data presentation.
  • Good understanding of SQL programming.
