Job description

Fixed term contract/secondment opportunity until 31st March 2026

We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative includes:

  • James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH)
  • Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)
  • The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to improve health and well-being across Norfolk and Waveney. We are committed to advancing our digital capabilities to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

As an Application Analyst within the EPR Programme, you will complete relevant MEDITECH Expanse training and perform complex configurations or modifications to the EPR applications, aligning them with the workflows and standards of the Trusts and the EPR programme, under the guidance of the Lead Analyst and Application Trainer. Experience or knowledge in EPR or maternity systems is preferred.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Transposing future workflows into the EPR application build.
  2. Supporting system modifications using configuration tools.
  3. Collaborating with other EPR teams across various domains such as security, reporting, testing, and data migration.
  4. Testing the system to ensure safety, security, and functionality.
  5. Providing end-user support through meetings, incident investigations, and resolutions.

Join us at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, part of a workforce of over 10,000 staff, dedicated to delivering first-class acute care and innovation.

We offer a comprehensive range of NHS benefits and additional perks, including flexible working hours, physiotherapy services, staff discounts, pension scheme, and more.
