Job description

This vacancy is for a 23 month fixed term post to join the Business Change team for the implementation of NerveCentre Electronic Patient Record (EPR)

The Business Change Analysts are senior members of staff within the EPR Team and will play an active role in the management and delivery of NerveCentre across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The roles have responsibility for:

  • Leading teams through a benefits and change management process.
  • Delivery of benefits to the healthcare organisations in Lincolnshire.
  • Increasing clinical engagement and buy in.
  • Managing parts of the project using PRINCE2 methodology.
  • Ensuring the on-going exploitation of existing and new systems to ensure optimum benefits are delivered.
  • Provide expertise on process and system design and configuration.
  • Undertake the role of product specialist.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Qualifications
  • Current professional qualification (such as registered healthcare professional, PRINCE2 Practitioner or UKCHIP level 2/3), a graduate level diploma in a related subject or equivalent relevant experience in healthcare or IT enabled change environments
  • Ongoing personal and professional development
  • Degree or above
Previous Experience
  • Experience of redesigning services/implementing change within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the NHS and organisational pressures
  • Member Regional or National Practice/learning networks
  • Member of Professional organisation
  • Experience of undertaking project work demonstrating for example ability to grasp detailed points, assess priorities and make decisions
