Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Controls Design Engineer (EPMS) to coordinate Electrical Power Monitoring System design across a global data center portfolio. You will review MEP drawings, develop EPMS SOWs, and collaborate with regional managers to align project scopes and EPMS content.

The role requires experience with EPMS, Modbus, and data center electrical concepts, with travel to project sites as needed and a focus on standardized documentation and global design standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience in engineering environments.
• Experience with EPMS or similar building management/monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with electrical diagrams, single-line diagrams, and data center redundancy.

Responsibilities

• Review EPMS design content in drawings and ensure coverage of EPMS requirements.
• Create EPMS SOWs, provide RFI support, and review vendor proposals.
• Coordinate with regional project managers to finalize project scopes and EPMS content.
• Attend Factory Witness Tests and Equipment Qualification Tests to validate EPMS devices.
