Job summary

Vicit in London is seeking a senior EPM Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise performance management solutions, primarily using Anaplan or Pigment, across complex transformation programmes.

You will own projects from discovery and scoping through solution design, build and deployment, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, and providing technical leadership to model builders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across EPM and business consulting.
• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions using Anaplan and/or Pigment.
• At least two full lifecycle EPM implementations.
• Experience leading discovery workshops and scoping.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery workshops to understand requirements, current-state processes, systems and data flows.
• Own project scoping from initial discovery through to agreement and sign-off.
• Define end-to-end EPM solution architecture, including future-state processes, workflows, data requirements and integration dependencies.
• Translate business and functional requirements into detailed solution specifications, user stories and sprint plans.
• Produce process maps and current-state / future-state solution designs.
• Identify integration requirements, system dependencies and opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to model builders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor build progress, resolve technical blockers and ensure solutions remain aligned with agreed requirements and architecture.
• Work closely with Project Managers to manage scope, delivery milestones, risks and evolving client requirements.
• Prepare and present solution demonstrations, sprint reviews, integration updates and project progress to client stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activity, including platform demonstrations, solution design, scoping and proposal development.
• Build broader knowledge across Anaplan, Pigment and other EPM technologies.
• Contribute to internal best practice, methodology development, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the EPM practice.

Working with clients across Asset Management, Private Markets, Real Estate, Wealth Management and Insurance, they design and implement modern planning, forecasting and reporting solutions using platforms including Anaplan, Pigment and Workiva.

The business has a growing EPM practice and offers the opportunity to work on complex transformation programmes while developing broader expertise across multiple EPM technologies.

Role Description

This is a senior, client-facing Solutions Architect role responsible for leading the design and delivery of EPM solutions across complex enterprise transformation programmes.

You will own projects from initial discovery and scoping through solution design, build and deployment, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand existing processes, systems and data flows before translating requirements into scalable solution architectures.

Working alongside Project Managers and model-building teams, you will define functional requirements, future-state processes and detailed solution specifications, while providing technical leadership throughout delivery. You will also act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, presenting solutions to senior stakeholders and supporting pre-sales activity.

The role is suited to an experienced Anaplan or Pigment consultant who combines strong technical architecture capability with consulting, stakeholder management and delivery leadership.

Role Responsibilities

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience across EPM and business consulting.

• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions using Anaplan and/or Pigment.

• At least two full lifecycle EPM implementations, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.

• Strong experience leading discovery workshops, requirements gathering, project scoping and solution design.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications and scalable technical solutions.

• Strong understanding of EPM model design principles, integrations and enterprise data flows.

• Experience providing technical leadership to model builders or development teams throughout project delivery.

• Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and engaging confidently with senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Relevant Anaplan or Pigment certification, with the ability to progress towards Solution Architect-level certification.

• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering EPM solutions within Asset Management, Private Markets, Real Estate, Wealth Management or Insurance.

• Financial modelling experience within Financial Services.

• Experience across multiple EPM platforms, particularly Anaplan, Pigment and/or Workiva.

• Strong Excel modelling skills.

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA for user story and backlog management.

• Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.

• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including demonstrations, solution design and proposal development.

• Experience working with external technology vendors and implementation partners.

• Flexibility to work from client offices in London and undertake occasional travel across EMEA.
