Overview

As a Epidemiologist Lead you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.We are seeking a skilled and proactive Epidemiologist Leadto join our Safety Evidence Generation team. This strategic role focuses on generating real-world evidence (RWE) to support the safety profile of the client therapies across the product lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally and externally to shape evidence strategies that directly support regulatory, clinical, and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Design and execute pharmacoepidemiology (PE) studies to address safety-related research questions.
  • Identify the most suitable real-world data (RWD) sources (e.g., claims data, electronic health records (EHRs), registries) and analytical methods.
  • Translate complex safety findings into actionable insights through robust data interpretation.
  • Contribute to Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs) with a focus on safety outcomes.
  • Collaborate across Real-World Evidence (RWE), Medical Affairs, Safety, Regulatory, Biostatistics, and Clinical teams.
  • Support scientific publication planning and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the client in engagements with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic partners, and external forums.
Qualifications

You are:

  • PhD in Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in epidemiology and/or drug safety, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting Real-World Data (RWD) / Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies from concept to publication.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of complex data from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory expectations around Real-World Evidence (RWE).
  • Proven ability to lead in a cross-functional, matrixed, and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
