Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is recruiting an Electronic Health Records (EHR) System Analyst/Designer to support Epic EHR across clinical and administrative teams.

The role is NHS AfC Band 7, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with hybrid working and on-site presence as required.

You will analyse workflows, modify Epic to reflect best practices, test changes, and provide end-user support while collaborating with leads and super-users.

Qualifications

• Epic certification required; candidates without certification start at band 6 with training.
• Experience with NHS inpatient services and EHR configuration is preferred.
• Hybrid on-site attendance at least one day per fortnight.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical and administrative processes with staff to agree best practices.
• Modify Epic to reflect approved workflows and test changes to ensure safety and functionality.
• Provide end-user support and incident investigation with escalation and resolution.
• Maintain relationships with departmental leads, super-users and subject matter experts.
• Contribute to rolling upgrade programmes delivering new features and functionality.
