Wood is looking for Expression of Interest candidates for future Quality Lead roles in Aberdeen, Scotland. Please note this is not currently a live role.
Job Objective:
- Manages or supports the application of quality principles, systems, and measures within the quality management system across a program or project. Focused on improving delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and reducing potential risks and rework while complying with Quality policy, standards, and delivering agreed objectives.
- Ensures compliance with the Wood Business Management System through a structured assurance program.
- Supports measures that ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement using performance data to make factually based decisions. Engages with and presents program/project leaders with information and data to enable preventive interventions.
- This position has a broad scope, typically applying across a single program/project, where the candidate may have responsibility for a small quality team or support a deployed Quality manager on a larger/complex program/project. This scope is referred to as “Organisation” within this role profile.
Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management, or related discipline (essential)
- Lead Auditor qualification by a recognized industry body (essential)
- Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute, or equivalent (desirable)
- Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (essential)
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Relevant experience, preferably in a related industry
- Comprehensive understanding of industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011, and associated Wood Standards)
- Proficient in process and data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High level of communication skills, both written and spoken
- Proficient in continuous improvement tools and techniques
