Wood is currently sourcing Expression of Interest applications for an upcoming Project Commercial Manager position to be located in North East England within our Process and Energy (P&E) business.

Responsibilities
  • Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
  • Commercialisation of service offerings to support business growth and strategy
  • Developing teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business
  • Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
  • Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
  • Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across Project / Portfolio of Projects
  • Managing the tender governance process
  • Manages and provides team members with the general direction in commercial activities during the contract life cycle from input into tenders through contract delivery to contract commercial closeout
  • Implementation of commercial strategy for the Business Unit within assigned project and ensures alignment of objectives to the business unit strategy

Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  • Extensive experience in a similar role including strong leadership/management experience
  • Proven experience in contract administration including change management
  • Experience in contract negotiations
  • Experience in claims & dispute resolution (pre and post-litigation experience preferred)
