We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Trust Junior Doctor (equivalent to FY2 level) for the dynamic and forward thinking department for EOC. The department provides all types of Orthopaedic treatment.
As part of the role you will provide support to the in-patients wards at Central Middlesex Hospital, as well as have the opportunity to observe surgical cases in main theatres and day surgery.
The department is committed to excellence in teaching and training for junior doctors.
Participate with colleagues in the continuous provision of Orthopaedic services provided by the Trust. Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team in the care of Orthopaedic inpatients and outpatients. To cooperate in the department's audit and research programme. To undertake regular weekly ward rounds for inpatients as part of the consultant on call team. To be expected to participate in the assessment of emergency patients on the ward. Be expected to adhere to the Trust's Infection Prevention and Control Policies and make every effort to maintain high standards of infection control at all times thereby reducing the burden of all Healthcare Associated Infections including MRSA.
