Job summary

Leonardo UK is recruiting experienced EO/IR Systems Engineers to work on advanced electro-optic systems across a range of projects, including GCAP, laser weapons and IRCM. You will contribute to requirements capture, system design, verification and lifecycle processes within a broad, scalable framework.

The role offers exposure to leading-edge technology, and requires a capability to collaborate with project teams while adhering to security standards and governance in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience applying systems engineering within EO/IR environments.
• Ability to capture, define and manage requirements across lifecycle stages.
• Proficiency in modelling, analysis and verification of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Capture and manage requirements for EO/IR technologies throughout development lifecycle.
• Apply and improve systems engineering processes across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with integrated project teams to design, build and deliver EO/IR equipment.
• Drive continual learning and improvement across the UK engineering community.
