Job Description & Summary
The role
We are hiring for a new Senior Manager within the fast-growing Environmental Taxes team. The successful candidate will occupy an important role within the team, providing key support whilst helping to manage and develop more junior team members. The team's work comprises both contentious and non-contentious matters. On the contentious side, the team provides end-to-end support for clients with environmental tax disputes, from early stage enquiries, to alternative dispute resolution, through to litigation before the Tax Tribunals and Courts. It would be advantageous, albeit not essential, for the candidate to be a UK qualified lawyer.
On the non-contentious side, the team's work includes advisory, compliance and deals support matters, with a particular focus on emerging taxes and staying ahead of the market, making it an exciting and modern place to work. The team have high profile, household name clients, with the role holder expected to have client contact from Day 1.
