Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking an Installation Engineer for the Midlands & South Yorkshire area. The role covers a full project lifecycle from initial survey through to final sign-off, with a focus on reliable, compliant environmental protection systems.

You'll work on electrical, mechanical, automation and SCADA projects, using CAD for design and training for PLCs, with opportunities to travel to client sites and remote deployments.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications (Level 3 NVQ C&G or equivalent).
• Experience delivering engineering installs in environmental or industrial settings.
• Hands-on engineering approach with proven installation jobs.
• Knowledge of BS EN 858-2:2003 and BS 7671 – 18th Edition.
• Strong organisational skills and problem-solving flair.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to conduct surveys of mechanical/electrical/environmental assets to a high standard

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end installation projects from site survey to final sign-off.
• Install automated systems and perform system audits for improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and clients; travel and remote deployments.
• Support CAD design and PLC training as needed.
