Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking an Installation Engineer for the Midlands & South Yorkshire region. This full-time role involves taking projects from the initial survey through to final sign-off, ensuring systems operate flawlessly and meet compliance standards.

You will handle electrical, mechanical, automation, and SCADA tasks, with training available for CAD design and PLC work. Travel and remote deployments are part of the job, contributing to cutting-edge environmental protection solutions.

Qualifications

Electrical qualifications at Level 3 NVQ/C&G or equivalent.
Experience delivering engineering installs in environmental or industrial settings.
Hands-on engineering approach with proven installation jobs.
Knowledge of BS EN 858-2:2003 and BS 7671 – 18th Edition.
Strong organisational skills and problem-solving flair.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practice.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Ability to conduct surveys of mechanical/electrical/environmental assets.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end installation projects from survey to sign-off.
Install, commission and test automated electrical/mechanical systems.
Prepare and design with CAD; pre-assemble control panels.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors and clients; support travel/remote deployments.
Drive site surveys, ensure compliance and quality standards.
