We are looking for an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our infrastructure team to support Anglian Water projects across Peterborough.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure environmental compliance across water, waste, noise/vibration, and ecological aspects.
  • Provide environmental compliance advice to design, construction, procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage and mentor Environmental Advisors.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the Environmental Management Plan and site-specific control measures.
  • Conduct environmental audits and inspections, including for suppliers and waste contractors.
  • Deliver environmental and sustainability training for project staff.
  • Promote and achieve targets related to reducing carbon emissions, improving materials efficiency, and biodiversity conservation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Environmental Science or related field, or equivalent (e.g., NVQ).
  • Several years of construction or environmental sector experience.
  • Practitioner Membership with IEMA or similar organization.
