Qualifications

  • A full driving license and willingness to travel.

  • Support the Health, Safety & Sustainability Director in developing and implementing the UK & Europe Net Zero Strategy.
  • Track and report progress metrics internally and externally.
  • Assist the Transportation & Fleet teams in identifying and implementing a carbon reduction strategy.
  • Support the Facilities team in property-related carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Work with the Asset team to identify low carbon technologies.
  • Help maintain ISO 14001 & 50001 accreditation.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our Sunbelt team. In this role, you will lead the company's Net Zero strategy and develop Environmental Sustainability programmes to position us as a leader in sustainability internally and to our customers.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams, customers, and supply chain partners to reduce environmental impact and GHG emissions, supporting customers in reducing their emissions through responsible equipment hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Health, Safety & Sustainability Director in developing and implementing the UK & Europe Net Zero Strategy.
  • Track and report progress metrics internally and externally.
  • Assist the Transportation & Fleet teams in identifying and implementing a carbon reduction strategy.
  • Support the Facilities team in property-related carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Work with the Asset team to identify low carbon technologies and assist customers in selecting low carbon equipment.
  • Help maintain ISO 14001 & 50001 accreditation and identify areas for continual improvement.
  • Develop communication strategies related to Net Zero to engage staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Manage ESOS requirements.
  • Represent the business at relevant sustainability meetings and industry forums.

About You
