Environmental & Sustainability Advisor

Location: Kent

Salary: £35,000 basic salary + benefits

We are currently working with a leading construction business that has a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Undertake environmental assessments and produce plans in line with the environmental management system.
  • Ensure work complies with legal requirements and protects the environment.
  • Support the provision of accurate environmental data.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on environmental performance.
  • Conduct inspections and audits in line with ISO 14001, permits, and environmental legislation, recording and addressing non-conformance and improvement recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree in an environmental discipline or relevant experience in an environmental role.
  • Understanding of environmental legislation relevant to civil engineering and utilities industries.
  • Experience managing environmental risks.
  • Ability to write environmental plans and reports and interpret data.
  • Proven experience in providing advice that mitigates risks and ensures compliance.
  • A passion for the environment and a drive for innovation and improvement.
