Overview

Environmental Support Officer (FTC) - North Wales Fire and Rescue Service

The North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an Environmental Support Officer to support the Environment and Climate Change Manager in the delivery of environmental programmes and compliance initiatives.

This role involves project coordination, both in the office and on-site, while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Supporting carbon accounting
  • Assisting with the planning and monitoring of environmental projects
  • Supporting the implementation of the North Wales Healthy Travel Charter
  • Attending relevant meetings and site visits across the Service area
Appointment details

The successful candidate will be based at NWFRS Headquarters, St Asaph, and will work 37 hours per week on a fixed-term 18-month contract. The salary range for this role is £29,064 to £31,022 per annum.
