Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across our Rail and Asset Management divisions. This is an agile role with up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialist direction and advice to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability to meet requirements
• Support risk management by defining an environmental assurance regime, including audits, inspections, and assurance practices
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids
• Develop and maintain performance data and carbon management reports for clients and contracts
• Review key environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks, within Business Units
• Support project teams to embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout the project lifecycle

Who you are:

Experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within relevant industries (Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, Construction)

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
• Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice
• Experience reducing environmental impacts through product lifecycle stages
• Managing complex technical and change projects
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel
