We are looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist with a strong focus on carbon footprint reduction to join the team. In this critical role, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance while embedding a culture of environmental responsibility across the business.

As the Environmental Specialist, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders, site managers, and operational teams to deliver measurable reductions in emissions, energy use, and waste, supporting our journey toward a greener, more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to measure, manage, and reduce the company's carbon footprint.
2. Lead sustainability projects, including energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and waste reduction initiatives.
3. Conduct carbon footprint assessments and produce regular environmental impact reports.
4. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain accurate records and reporting.
5. Support the development of the company's Net Zero and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies.
6. Deliver environmental awareness training and workshops across all levels of the business.
7. Identify new technologies and best practices to drive continuous environmental improvement.
8. Partner with external consultants, regulatory bodies, and industry groups on sustainability initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

1. Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an environmental or sustainability-focused role.
3. Experience with carbon accounting, energy management, or sustainability reporting standards (such as ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, SECR).
4. Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and industry best practices.
5. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
6. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and sustainability management software or reporting tools.
