We’re looking for an Environmental Specialist to join the INEOS Acetyls team. We need highly motivated individuals who want to be part of our growing business.
INEOS Acetyls is a global chemicals business producing acetic acid and derivatives across Europe, Asia, and America. We’re part of INEOS, one of the largest petrochemical companies worldwide, employing around 26,000 people across 194 sites in 29 countries.
You will be based at the Hull site, the largest producer of acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and ethyl acetate in Europe. Our products are essential building blocks used in industries such as renewable power, automotive, pharmaceuticals, coatings, and textiles.
Hull hosts the company’s global Technology Development and Support Team and is located on the 370-acre Saltend Chemicals Park, a hub for chemicals and renewable energy businesses in the UK’s energy estuary.

The opportunity
As an Environmental Specialist, you will ensure our operations comply with environmental, health, and safety legislation, and INEOS standards. You will serve as the subject matter expert on environmental issues at the Hull site, maintaining good relationships with regulators and environmental groups. Your role involves identifying opportunities to create value and address real-world challenges within multidisciplinary teams.
