It will also involve contributing to the delivery of investigations and improvements aligned with the Environment Act, ensuring regulatory compliance and environmental performance.

You’ll liaise with external bodies including the Environment Agency, Natural England, and Ofwat, as well as internal stakeholders. This collaboration will facilitate the discussion of investigation outcomes and improvement plans, helping to address any queries and enabling the company to operate its assets compliantly while achieving its business investment objectives.

Key requirements include:

  • Interpret regulations and provide advice on intermittent discharge commitments.
  • Assist engagement with the Environment Agency and Natural England on AMP7/AMP8 obligations.
  • Develop and maintain process templates and standard procedures for assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and process documentation.
  • Track and report progress on EnvAct_INV4 investigations and improvements.
  • Ensure data collection meets Strategic Asset Planning protocols.
  • Manage consultant workloads and budgets as needed.
  • Contribute to ODI and EPA performance outcomes.
