Job summary

Involve Recruitment is sourcing an Environmental Supervisor for a major Port Talbot regeneration project. The role supports delivery of environmental and civil works across three sites, reporting to the Site Manager and coordinating with ecologists and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will oversee daily site activities, ensure compliance with environmental legislation, and maintain comprehensive site records and toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience on environmental, ecological or civil engineering projects.
• Experience working with ecologists or environmental teams is desirable.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation, pollution prevention and site compliance.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations across multiple work areas.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with Environmental Management Plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation, project specs and health & safety requirements.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors to deliver to programme.
• Carry out site inspections, environmental monitoring and quality checks.
• Identify and report environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
