This is a key leadership role, managing a team of officers and overseeing critical areas such as statutory nuisance, air quality, contaminated land, and noise investigations.

We’re keen to hear from professionals with experience in Environmental Protection.

About the Role:

-Lead and manage a small Environmental Protection team

-Oversee statutory nuisance investigations and complex enforcement work

-Lead Air Quality Action Plans, contaminated land assessments, and nuisance control

-Drive service improvement and ensure compliance with relevant legislation

What We’re Looking For:

-Strong technical expertise in Environmental Protection or Environmental Health

-Experience managing or leading a local authority team

-Proven track record handling complex environmental casework and enforcement

-Ideally a degree in Environmental Health (or similar) and CIEH membership
