Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHO) or Environmental Protection Specialist with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of legislation and practice in Environmental Protection.
• Comfortable managing complex and sensitive casework.
• Previous experience within a local authority setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of casework related to Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting, and Noise Nuisance.
• Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders and members of the public.
• Manage a varied caseload ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
• Mentor a small team of Officers.
