Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to deliver remediation and environmental improvement projects in Manchester. The role involves a mix of site-based and technical work to support sustainable land development and safe site returns.

You will work on contaminated land and earthworks projects, collaborating with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle in a Manchester office setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Project Management or related field.
• Experience in remediation or contaminated land desirable.
• Live within a commutable distance to Manchester office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site investigations, sampling and monitoring.
• Assist with remediation strategy design and implementation.
• Support earthworks and materials management activities.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulators.
