Job description

Do you like working outdoors? Are you looking for a role that provides plenty of development opportunities? Do you have a flexible and confident approach to work? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our Sampling team as an Environmental Monitoring Technician!

Your main duties will focus on taking samples from our water recycling centres, trade effluent discharges, and other field work to ensure we comply with industry regulations and provide our customers with a high-quality service.

What you'll do

This role involves regulatory wastewater sampling for compliance regimes reportable to the Environment Agency. It offers a great opportunity to learn and develop your career in this exciting and challenging field.

What you'll need

To be successful, you will have a positive and flexible approach to supporting colleagues, along with the ability to prioritise your own workload.

Ideally, you will possess GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and science as a minimum, and be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.

A full clean driving licence is essential, as travel to sites across the region is required.
