A leading manufacturing company seeks an Accounts Assistant to manage environmental functions and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves overseeing ISO management systems and chemical management while collaborating with the Health & Safety Manager. COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE: Accounts Assistant
Our client is a world-class, multi award-winning, well-established manufacturing business, with strong and sustained investments in people, capital, and plant. They produce specialist materials and are acknowledged as an international leader in size and technical capabilities.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Health & Safety Manager and will also provide assistance to HR on related matters. You will actively manage the Environmental function.
You must hold either a professional Environmental Management Qualification such as an IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or a NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management. Alternatively, you should be qualified to degree level in a Scientific Discipline and possess experience in essential areas such as waste regulations, EA permit compliance, Trade effluent consent, REACH, ISO14001, ISO 50001, Climate Change Agreement, and packaging obligation reporting.

Package Details:
£50,000 to £55,000 + Bonus (up to £2,000 PA) + Benefits (including life assurance). Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break).
