Job summary

isepglobal, a leading provider of full life-cycle engineering, operations and decarbonisation solutions for transport infrastructure, seeks an Environmental Manager/Ecologist to support two Transport Scotland projects. You will lead survey delivery, reporting, mitigation design and construction-phase environmental management.

The role requires strong leadership, client liaison and coordination with designers, engineers and contractors to ensure compliance and smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of ecological delivery teams.
• Experience on infrastructure or highways projects.
• Excellent written communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small environmental team delivering highway-related surveys and assessments.
• Undertake and oversee ecological surveys for protected species.
• Produce high-quality technical reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Support environmental monitoring and liaison with contractors.
• Work with Transport Scotland and project teams to ensure compliance and delivery.
• Manage project timelines, quality, and communication.
