What You'll Do

This role supports the Environment and Sustainability Manager and site teams by implementing the environmental management system, assisting with environmental planning, reviewing records, and guiding physical site environmental controls. Frequent travel to sites is required.

Key Accountabilities

• Assess and report on site environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives via our digitised reporting system.
• Ensure accuracy of waste reporting within our system and supply chain.
• Review physical environmental control measures for effectiveness.
• Support site-level environmental plan reviews, including aspects and impacts registers.
• Assist with environmental incident investigations.
• Guide site teams on environmental legislation and requirements.

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with environmental controls and management systems in construction.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation.
• Experience with ISO 14001 management system.

Personal Qualities

• Articulate and confident communicator.
• Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and embrace change.
• IT literate with a positive attitude towards technology.

Qualifications and Training

• Full UK driving license (car allowance or vehicle available).
• CSCS card (desirable).
• Relevant degree or environmental qualification.
