Job summary

Overview

Environmental Manager – Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Southampton. Salary: circa £50,000 with excellent benefits + travel expensed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with environmental legislation
• Maintain the site Environmental Management System (EMS) and ensure continued ISO14001 certification
• Monitor and manage Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, reporting progress towards Net Zero and sustainability goals
• Liaise with the Environment Agency and act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role within waste, chemicals or a related industry
• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
• Ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
• Preferably experience in environmental management or sustainability roles
