Role: Environmental Manager
Location: Leeds
Duration: 6 Months
Purpose: The role will lead on the necessary environmental support and coordination across the project whilst ensuring performance against business objectives on a variety of environmental management criteria.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead on the development and implementation of environmental processes and systems within the project.
- Help the supply chain to deliver legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement in environmental & sustainable construction management.
- Be a recognised expert and trusted advocate for environmental management across the project.
- Lead and support the existing team of environmental professionals within the project to ensure coordination and collaboration across the different areas of the project.
- Provide visible environmental engagement and support across the project and its supply chain.
- Help deliver the Offshore Environment & Sustainability portfolio strategy.
- Be part of a high performing team that builds a reputation for professionalism, objectivity, integrity, and delivery of results.
- Work with the Lead Sustainability and Environmental Specialist to provide monthly performance reports for environmental incidents, inspections, and wider sustainability performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Capability to engage and inform internal and external stakeholders in positive, constructive ways.
- A drive and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and experience of change management.
- Current driving licence (as the role will require travel within England and Scotland).
