Job Description

Role: Environmental Manager

Location: Leeds

Duration: 6 Months

Purpose: The role will lead on the necessary environmental support and coordination across the project whilst ensuring performance against business objectives on a variety of environmental management criteria.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Lead on the development and implementation of environmental processes and systems within the project.
  2. Help the supply chain to deliver legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement in environmental & sustainable construction management.
  3. Be a recognised expert and trusted advocate for environmental management across the project.
  4. Lead and support the existing team of environmental professionals within the project to ensure coordination and collaboration across the different areas of the project.
  5. Provide visible environmental engagement and support across the project and its supply chain.
  6. Help deliver the Offshore Environment & Sustainability portfolio strategy.
  7. Be part of a high performing team that builds a reputation for professionalism, objectivity, integrity, and delivery of results.
  8. Work with the Lead Sustainability and Environmental Specialist to provide monthly performance reports for environmental incidents, inspections, and wider sustainability performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Capability to engage and inform internal and external stakeholders in positive, constructive ways.
  • A drive and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and experience of change management.
  • Current driving licence (as the role will require travel within England and Scotland).
