HSE Recruitment Network is recruiting for an Environmental Manager, representing a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative global leader in drinks manufacturing.

The role focuses on leading environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement by implementing policies, managing risks, driving waste and resource efficiency, and engaging teams to achieve environmental goals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the on-site Environmental expert, leading the implementation of policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements, and lead initiatives for carbon and sustainability targets.
• Lead waste reduction and efficiency projects to drive measurable improvements.
• Coach front-line teams in incident investigations and embed learnings.
• Serve as the site’s Environmental representative and main contact for the Environment Agency, including managing the Environmental Permit.
• Drive the environmental plan, conduct audits, and manage energy and water budgets.
• Sustain and manage ISO 14001 compliance.
• Lead risk management using Aspect & Impact assessments and collaborate with teams to mitigate risks.
• Champion environmental initiatives and behaviors across the site.
• Apply root cause analysis to reduce impact.

Essential Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; a master’s is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to engage teams.
• Experience in driving behavioral and cultural change in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IEMA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
• Experience leading waste reduction and efficiency projects.
