Job description

Tremendous opportunity for an Environmental Law Solicitor to join this high-calibre practice and work for a boutique firm that is sector-leading and dealing with an exceptional client base. Some of the key selling points of this role include:

  • Exceptional Client Base
  • Outstanding Reputation
  • Genuine Progression Opportunities
  • Significant Hybrid Working
  • Unlimited Holidays

This practice is seeking Solicitors at all levels and will consider Senior Solicitors and Partners to join and assist with succession planning. The main purpose of this role is to work on a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters, including regulatory work such as corporate defence, prosecutions, and sanctions negotiation. Advisory work will cover areas like energy, waste, chemicals, and projects including landfill, renewable energy, and contaminated land.

The client base is unparalleled, and despite being a small boutique, you will handle work that rivals top-tier city law firms. Ideally, candidates will have experience advising and representing commercial clients, including FTSE 100/250 companies. Since the firm's reputation attracts reliable work, business development is not a focus; the primary aim is to fee earn and deliver excellent service to clients.

This practice truly punches above its weight and takes care of its team, offering ample opportunities for progression, company-wide bonuses, unlimited annual leave, hybrid working (requiring only 1-2 days in the office per week), and 1-on-1 training provided by Legal 500 / Chambers-ranked industry-leading partners.
