Job Description:

The salary starts at £36,407 plus car/allowance (£36,640), up to 10% bonus, pension, 25+8 holidays.

What will I be doing as an EIR Advisor?

The core responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the management and updating of the Group IRM (Insurance Risk Management) platform for the UK, including remote support to other EIR team members.
  • Working with operational teams to manage defects, ensuring they are rectified appropriately.
  • Producing management plans (Fire Prevention Plan – FPP, Odour Management Plan - OMP, Site Management Plan - SMP, and Monitoring Management Plan - MMP) that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Providing data to line management to facilitate the production of monthly reports.

What are the requirements/qualifications?

Experience in writing, reviewing, and maintaining Management Systems is essential, along with current knowledge of industry activities to ensure continued accreditation to ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 standards, enabling environment permits to be undertaken using ‘best available techniques’ (BAT).

Additional requirements include:

  • A Degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences.
  • Professional membership of relevant bodies to stay updated with the latest standards.
  • A detailed understanding of project management approaches, with good project management skills to ensure timely delivery of information.
  • Knowledge of legal reporting requirements, such as waste returns, energy efficiency, and permit requirements.
