We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for the UK to oversee multiple sites.

Role Overview

The EHS Manager will develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs across five UK sites, including HQ in Somerset, manufacturing sites in Devon and Kent, and an R&D hub in North Wales. The role involves ensuring compliance, incident reduction, risk mitigation, and driving sustainability initiatives such as ISO 14001 and emission reduction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business strategy by integrating HSE directives and policies at site level
• Develop and execute annual HSE objectives and strategies for policy implementation
• Conduct regular audits and inspections in line with ISO 45001 standards
• Identify training needs and deliver HSE training sessions for staff
• Investigate HSE incidents and collaborate with HR on serious cases
• Monitor liability claims and conduct risk assessments with corrective actions
• Establish and track HSE KPIs across sites
• Recommend and implement HSE software tools for standardization
• Ensure proper record-keeping to meet regulatory and corporate requirements
• Advise on HSE aspects in manufacturing process design and decommissioning

Environmental Responsibilities

• Manage environmental permits and programs across sites
• Lead energy assessments and GHG reduction planning in accordance with ISO 50001
• Implement and maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing

• Experience managing multiple sites is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
