Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level EHS Consultant to support a growing portfolio of corporate clients operating from multiple sites across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, proactive and thrives in a consultancy setting. You'll be delivering practical environmental, health, and safety solutions with a focus on quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivereffective consulting projects through to successful conclusion
- Develop existing products and processes to ensure continualimprovement in the client-facing performance
- Buildand maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Partnerwith customers to understand their HSE needs and objectives
- Effectivelycommunicate the value proposition through involvement in proposalsand presentations
Requirements:
- 4+ years of successful operation within the HSE sector, consistentlymeeting client expectations
- Demonstrableability to communicate, present and influence credibly andeffectively at all levels of the organization, including executivelevel
- Provenability to drive clients towards improved EHS performance
- Provenpeople management skills
- Excellentproject management skills
- Demonstrableexperience in developing client-focused, differentiated andachievable solutions
- Excellentlistening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills
- FullUK driving licence
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of working in EHS services or Environmental H&Sconsultancy environment
- GraduateIOSH membership status with up-to-date CPD
- PractitionerIEMA membership status (PIEMA is non-negotiable)
- EHSauditor qualifications – ideally lead auditor status
- Must have hands-on experience implementing ISO 14001 management systems – preferably across multi-site environments. ISO 45001 implementation and auditor qualifications (Lead or Internal) are highly desirable.
- Experiencein delivering risk assessments and compliance auditing acrossmulti-site businesses
- Excellentproject management skills, with particular emphasis on effectivelyidentifying client needs and articulating them successfully withinproject plans
- Experience working within a multi-stakeholder environment where competingneeds must be managed effectively in order to deliver results
- Experience working in an environment where commercial performance targetsare part of the workload
- Abilityto effectively and concisely communicate regulatory and bestpractice requirements to personnel at all levels within clientcompanies
