Environmental Health Officer – Pollution Control
Salary:Grade 7 - £39,144 to £42,816 per year which includes 5% Market Supplement (subject to annual review)
Hours: 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small but busy Pollution Control Team which deals with a wide range of service requests, air pollution monitoring, contaminated land, and planning consultations.
Amber Valley is an attractive area in the heart of Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District National Park and close to the lively cities of Nottingham and Derby. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who enjoys a challenge and has a proven competency in pollution control investigations including the use of noise monitoring equipment. The post will offer opportunities to develop knowledge across all areas of pollution control work. You will need to demonstrate a strong sense of self-motivation, be a competent communicator and be capable of taking responsibility for your individual work targets.
