Salary: Grade 8/9 £42,924 - £49,194 PORTAL REF: INV05924
Location: Municipal Buildings, Clyde Square
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Inverclyde Council is seeking to appoint a qualified Environmental Health Officer to work in the Health Protection Team of the Planning, Regeneration and Public Protection Service. The role covers a range of environmental enforcement including noise control together with commercial enforcement of Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation together with Port Health and infectious disease control.
Consideration may be given to candidates with an Environmental Health Degree seeking to complete their practical training or to those with a suitable degree who could become qualified Environmental Health Officers via the REHIS alternative route, details of which can be found on the REHIS website.
