Job Overview

This is a temporary contract position based in Ballymena, providing environmental services including Food Safety, Consumer Protection, Pollution Control, and more. The role is part-time, working 29.6 hours over 4 days per week, initially for 9 months.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections, investigations, assessments within Environmental Health functions.
  • Work across various service areas such as Public Health, Food Safety, Environmental Protection, and others.
  • Develop expertise as required to meet service needs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Environmental Health and membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
  • At least 1 year's experience in a local government Environmental Health role.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement skills.
  • Full UK driving license and access to transport.
