An exciting job opportunity has arisen to join Birmingham City Council's expanding Environmental Health team. As the largest local authority in the UK, Birmingham is an interesting and unique place to work with excellent opportunities for professional development created by the challenging and varied workload. You will be joining an active, friendly, and professional team with prospects to gain further experience across a range of environmental health areas including: Food Safety, Health and Safety, Statutory Nuisance and Public Health.
We are seeking highly motivated, passionate and experienced Environmental Health Officers to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking investigations, conducting inspections and enforcing a wide range of statutory provisions aimed at protecting and improving public health and the environment.
We are keen to hear from candidates who share our enthusiasm and commitment to deliver an excellent Environmental Health Service for Birmingham’s residents, businesses, and visitors.
