Environmental Health Officer

Environmental Health Officer needed in Bexley.

The rate is £24.03ph PAYE.

This is a temporary role.

The successful candidate will work as a skilled officer who is competent, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to fill the below posts within our Environmental Protection Team. Their duties will include:

1. Investigation and response to complaints in relation to allegations of statutory nuisance.
2. Assessing and approving s.61 applications.
3. Permitting and responding to licensing consultations.

You must have working knowledge and understanding of the nuisance provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, knowledge of licensing legislation, and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
