Job summary

A recruitment agency in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer/Food Safety Officer to support a Food Hygiene team for a 6-month period. Responsibilities include conducting food hygiene inspections and health and safety inspections. Candidates should have local authority experience and at least 20 hours of CPD. Full-time is preferred, but part-time candidates willing to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in local authority roles.
• 20 completed hours of CPD.
• Competency framework knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct food hygiene inspections CAT C-E.
• Perform health and safety inspections on tattooist, massage, and special treatments.
• Handle revisits and reactive complaint work.

One of our clients in the Midlands is currently looking for an experienced Environmental Health Officer/Food Safety Officer, to support their Food Hygiene team for a 6 month period.

Job responsibilities include:

Food Hygiene Inspections CAT C-E

Health and Safety Inspections (Tattooist, massage and special treatments)

Revisits

Reactive complaint work

They are ideally looking for someone full time, however would consider part time candidates that would be able to commit to a minimum of 24 hour per week.

You will need to have had local authority experience, have 20 completed hour of CPD and have a competency framework.
