Environmental Health Officer needed in Bournemouth - Paying £20.98 per hour, ref 5273439

Full-time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate complaints and carry out inspections in line with statutory duties.
• Enforce environmental health legislation and take appropriate legal action where necessary.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to businesses, landlords, and the public.
• Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and present evidence in court or tribunals when required.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies.
• Respond to emergencies and public health incidents as part of a rota or out-of-hours service.
