A public sector organization in Bedford is seeking a part-time Environmental Health Officer to join the Corporate Safety & Commercial Regulation team. The role involves implementing regulatory measures and providing professional advice on health and safety issues. Candidates should hold an accredited degree in Environmental Health and have extensive experience in regulatory roles. The position offers £45 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
A client within the Public Sector based in Bedfordshire is currently recruiting for an Environmental Health Officer to join their Corporate Safety & Commercial Regulation team as soon as possible. The client is offering a part-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a commercial environmental health environment.
Key purpose of the role: To effectively implement and deliver the reactive and planned workload in relation to Commercial Regulation, focusing on Health & Safety, Licensing & Commercial Noise. Providing professional advice, in line with appropriate competencies, to local stakeholders and other directorate service areas. To protect and improve the health, safety and well-being of residents, workers, visitors & consumers within the Borough.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £45 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £31.50 per hour PAYE).
