• Provide guidance on legislation and enforcement, ensuring decisions and casework are consistent and robust.

We're looking for an experienced Local Authority Environmental Health manager with a strong grounding in investigations, public health and regulatory enforcement. You'll need a track record of managing operational teams, improving services and translating plans into practical changes.

Experience across nuisance, pest control, waste enforcement or environmental protection would be particularly relevant, alongside the confidence to review existing arrangements and establish a clear direction for the service.
