Essential Employment is seeking an Environmental Health Manager in Milton Keynes on a full-time temporary contract. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote, to lead and manage the Environmental Health service.

You will provide professional leadership across food safety, public protection, environmental protection, noise and nuisance, air quality and workplace health & safety, and work with senior stakeholders.

• Experience leading an Environmental Health service.
• Ability to manage performance and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee investigations, enforcement and regulatory decision-making.
• Work with senior stakeholders and represent the service internally and externally.

• Primary Authority work
• Associated regulatory and enforcement functions
• Manage service performance, statutory compliance and operational delivery.
• Oversee complex investigations, enforcement activity and regulatory decision-making.
• Provide leadership, support and direction to managers and staff across the service.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and represent the service internally and externally as required.

This is a Full time role on atemporary contract basis
