The candidate will bring 5–10 years of multi-site EHS experience, NEBOSH Diploma, and lead auditor credentials to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with global standards.

Qualifikationen

• NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent.
• CMIOSH or actively working towards it.
• Lead Auditor Certifications for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

My Bury St Edmunds client is in urgent need of a full time professional who is a qualified, multi–site Environment, Health, and Safety Manager, with the ability to lead safety and compliance strategies for their production sites across the UK.

With over 50 years in operation, they maintain their high standards of production and continuously investing to ensure significant growth and a healthy growing order book and turnover.

Responsibilities will focus on the following:

• Leading regulatory compliance, safety culture, and environmental stewardship across multiple manufacturing/industrial sites.
• You will be required to have 5 10 years of progressive Environment, Health, and Safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a proven track record in multi–site management.
• Maintain and improve certifications such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies (e.g., HSE)
• Actively participate in regional and local meetings and safety committees.
• Collaborate with site leadership to embed objectives into daily operations.

The right candidate will possess the following experience:

• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety).
• NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent).
• CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH) or actively working towards it.
• Lead Auditor Certifications for both ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Familiarity with environmental permitting, wastewater operations, and energy management systems
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate global goals into local action plans
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and influencing skills
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities (e.g., KPI tracking, root cause analysis)
• Proficiency in Health and Safety management systems
